WHAT WE BELIEVE
OUR BELIEFS
The Deity of Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, performed miracles, died an atoning death, physically rose from the grave, conquered sin and death and defeated Satan, sits at the right hand of the Father, and He WILL return again.
THE TRINITY
God manifests Himself in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit, known as the Trinity.
THE HOLY SPIRIT
Christians are empowered to live Godly lives by the indwelling and current ministry of the Holy Spirit.
THE BIBLE
The Bible is the inspired, infallible, authoritative Word of God, without error in the original languages.
THE CHURCH
The church is the body of Christ, consisting of all who truly believe in Jesus and trust Him as their Savior.
HEALING
Healing is provided for the spirit, soul and body in the atoning death of Jesus.
GIFTS OF THE SPIRIT
The gifts of the Holy Spirit are operational TODAY, but “let all things be done decently and in order.”
SALVATION
Salvation is by God’s grace through faith and is evident by repentance, good works and thankfulness.
RESURRECTION
Resurrection comes to both the saved and lost. The saved unto eternal life; the lost unto eternal damnation.
BAPTISM
We believe in the ordinance of water baptism, by immersion, in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, and the authority of Jesus’ name.
Baptism is an open display of our repentance. It is one of the most symbolic gestures of our Christian faith. It is showing the entire world that we are not ashamed of the gospel and we believe that Jesus’ death on the cross paid the price for our sins.
When you are baptized, you are symbolically buried with Christ in His death and raised again in His newness of life.
